Information we collect
When you send an inquiry
The inquiry form asks for your first and last name, email address and message, the role that describes you and the topic of your inquiry, and your agreement to be contacted. You may also give a phone number, a company name, a fabric of interest and a project location. We also record the page you sent the form from.
To limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way code derived from your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself. We also store the browser information your device sends (its user agent).
If your email address belongs to a company we already know, we link your inquiry to that company's record.
When you request trade access or use the trade portal
The request form asks for your name, position, email address and phone number, and for your company's name, industry, type of business, website, country, state and city. You may add your company's Instagram and LinkedIn pages, a message, and how you heard about us. If you arrived through a link with campaign information, we record it with your request.
Once your account is approved, you set a password to sign in. Within the portal you may add company details such as the legal company name, tax identification number, company type, year established, the name and email of a legal representative, billing and shipping addresses, and resale certificates, and upload files such as your company logo and photos for your presentations. We also keep what you do in the portal: sample requests, quotes, orders, saved fabrics, projects and collections.
When you use the Advisor
The Advisor recommends fabrics from our library for a project or a collection. To do so, it sends the details you choose — the type of project, the areas or pieces, the style and colors, and any notes you write — to our AI provider, which returns the recommendation. Please do not include personal information about your clients in those notes.
When you place an order
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details are entered in Stripe's payment form and go directly to Stripe; they are not stored in our database. We keep the references Stripe gives us — for the customer, the payment and any payment method you choose to save, and its type — so that we can complete, adjust or refund an order.
Professional contact information from public sources
To introduce our collections to design studios, we collect professional contact information — names, roles, business email addresses and studio details — from public sources such as studio websites and professional profiles. We use it only for business-to-business communication about our fabrics. Every email we send in this way includes a link to stop receiving them, and you may ask us at any time to stop contacting you or to delete the information we hold about you. When you reply to one of these emails, we keep your reply as part of the conversation.
How we use information
We use the information above to answer inquiries, review requests for trade access, run your account, send samples, prepare quotes, process and deliver orders, calculate taxes, communicate with you about your work with us, keep the website and portal secure, and understand how the public website is used so that we can improve it.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Public website. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifiers that follow you across other websites.
Trade portal. When you sign in, the portal sets essential cookies that keep you signed in. They hold your session and are required for the portal to work. The portal also remembers display preferences, such as whether a menu is collapsed, in your browser's local storage.
Payments. On the pages where you pay, Stripe's payment form may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, and it loads a typeface from Google Fonts.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing cookies.
Do Not Track. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, the website does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals.
Service providers
We share personal information only with companies that process it on our behalf to run the website and the portal:
- Vercel — hosting and website analytics
- Supabase — database, file storage and sign-in
- Resend — email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — the AI that powers the Advisor and helps us research, read and draft our business correspondence
- Google Workspace — the mailbox we use for business correspondence
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy — for example, while your account is active, while an inquiry or an order is open, and afterwards for as long as our records, tax and legal obligations require.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to concierge@lusso-fabrics.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
You can stop receiving our business emails at any time with the link at the end of each one, or by writing to us.
California residents. If you live in California, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect and how we use it, and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, write to concierge@lusso-fabrics.com.
Children
The website and the trade portal are for professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
